These terms explain how offers and purchases are handled when an individual or business offers trading cards, sealed products, collections, accessories, or other collectibles to RockSocks Collectibles.

By submitting items for review, accepting an offer, shipping or delivering items to us, or otherwise proceeding with a transaction, the seller agrees to these terms.

 

1. Seller Eligibility and Authority

The seller confirms that:

• The seller is at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this transaction.

• The seller is the lawful owner of the submitted items or has full legal authority from the owner to sell them.

• The items are not stolen, lost, fraudulently obtained, subject to a lien, involved in an ownership dispute, or otherwise restricted from sale.

• The seller has accurately disclosed any known alteration, damage, repair, counterfeit concern, or authenticity concern.

RockSocks Collectibles may request identification, proof of ownership, purchase records, additional photographs, or other reasonable verification before completing a purchase.

We may decline or cancel any transaction when ownership, identity, authenticity, legality, or the seller’s authority cannot be reasonably verified.

 

 

2. Preliminary Estimates Are Not Final Offers

Any value provided from photographs, lists, spreadsheets, messages, videos, or other information supplied before physical inspection is a preliminary estimate only.

Preliminary estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change after the items are physically received and inspected.

A preliminary estimate does not require RockSocks Collectibles to purchase the items and does not guarantee a particular purchase price.

 

 

3. Offer Expiration and Market Changes

Unless otherwise stated in writing, a preliminary estimate or offer expires seven calendar days after it is sent.

Trading card and collectible values may change rapidly. We may revise or withdraw an offer before the transaction is completed if:

• Market prices materially change.

• Product demand or liquidity changes.

• New information becomes available.

• The items differ from the seller’s description.

• The seller does not ship or deliver the items within the agreed timeframe.

 

 

4. Shipping and Delivery

The seller is responsible for securely packaging the items and selecting an appropriate shipping method.

Unless RockSocks Collectibles provides a prepaid shipping label or agrees otherwise in writing:

• The seller is responsible for shipping costs.

• The seller bears the risk of loss or damage until tracking confirms delivery to RockSocks Collectibles.

• We strongly recommend using tracking, adequate insurance, protective packaging, and signature confirmation for valuable shipments.

RockSocks Collectibles is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, misdirected, damaged, or delayed before confirmed delivery.

Providing a shipping label does not mean that RockSocks Collectibles has accepted or purchased the contents of the shipment.

 

 

5. Inventory of Submitted Items

The seller should maintain their own complete list and photographs of the items being submitted.

For large collections, the seller should include an inventory list identifying the approximate quantity and major items included.

After receiving a shipment, RockSocks Collectibles may document the opening, contents, condition, and inspection of the package through photographs, video, written records, or other reasonable methods.

Our receiving records will be used to help resolve discrepancies regarding what was contained in the shipment.

 

6. Inspection and Evaluation

All items are subject to physical inspection.

Our evaluation may consider:

• Authenticity.

• Card or product condition.

• Completeness.

• Edition, printing, language, and variation.

• Sealed product integrity.

• Evidence of tampering, resealing, alteration, trimming, recoloring, cleaning, pressing, restoration, or repair.

• Current market value.

• Recent verified sales.

• Inventory levels.

• Expected selling time.

• Platform fees and selling expenses.

• Demand and resale risk.

RockSocks Collectibles purchases items for resale. Purchase offers will generally be below estimated retail or market value.

Condition assessments represent RockSocks Collectibles’ reasonable business judgment for purposes of determining whether and at what price we are willing to purchase an item. Our assessment may differ from the seller’s opinion, marketplace listings, automated pricing tools, grading-company results, or another dealer’s assessment.

 

 

7. Revised Final Offer

After inspection, RockSocks Collectibles will provide one of the following:

• Confirmation of the previously discussed offer.

• A revised final offer.

• A partial offer for selected items.

• Notice that we are declining the transaction.

A final offer may be lower than the preliminary estimate when items are missing, damaged, altered, counterfeit, incorrectly identified, in a different condition than represented, or have experienced a material market change.

Whenever reasonably practical, we will provide a general explanation for a significant adjustment.

 

 

8. Seller Approval

RockSocks Collectibles will not purchase the items until the seller accepts the final offer.

Acceptance may be provided through email, text message, website form, electronic signature, or another written electronic method approved by RockSocks Collectibles.

The seller’s acceptance of the final offer authorizes RockSocks Collectibles to take ownership of the accepted items and process payment according to the agreed payment method.

Once the seller accepts the final offer and payment has been issued, the sale is final and cannot be reversed except as required by law or agreed to by RockSocks Collectibles in writing.

Silence or failure to respond will not be treated as acceptance of a revised offer.

 

 

9. Partial Purchases

RockSocks Collectibles may offer to purchase only part of a submitted collection.

Before accepting a partial offer, the seller will be informed which items are included in the purchase and which items are being declined.

The seller must approve the partial offer before ownership of the accepted items transfers to RockSocks Collectibles.

 

 

10. Declined Items and Return Shipping

If the seller declines the final offer, or if RockSocks Collectibles declines some or all of the items, the items may be returned to the seller.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• The seller is responsible for return shipping costs.

• The seller may be required to provide a prepaid return label or pay the return shipping cost before the items are returned.

• Return shipments will be sent to the address provided by the seller.

• RockSocks Collectibles is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or damage occurring after the package is transferred to the shipping carrier, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable care in packaging.

RockSocks Collectibles will not deduct return shipping charges from a payment unless the seller has approved that deduction.

If the seller does not respond to a final offer or return-shipping request, we will make reasonable attempts to contact the seller using the information provided. Items may be held for up to 30 days after our final contact attempt. Any items remaining after that period will be handled as permitted by applicable law.

 

 

11. Counterfeit, Altered, or Suspicious Items

RockSocks Collectibles does not knowingly purchase counterfeit, stolen, fraudulently obtained, or unlawfully altered items.

If an item appears counterfeit, tampered with, unlawfully altered, stolen, or otherwise suspicious, we may:

• Decline the item or entire transaction.

• Request additional documentation.

• Temporarily preserve the item and transaction records while the issue is reviewed.

• Cooperate with a marketplace, grading company, payment provider, law-enforcement agency, or other appropriate authority.

• Refuse to return an item when returning it would violate applicable law or a lawful instruction from an authority.

Submission of an item does not guarantee that it will be authenticated, graded, purchased, or returned in any particular condition classification.

 

 

12. Payment

Payment will be issued only after:

1. The items have been received and inspected.

2. A final offer has been provided.

3. The seller has accepted the final offer.

4. Any requested identity, ownership, tax, or payment information has been received.

Unless otherwise stated in the final offer, approved payments are generally initiated within three business days after final acceptance.

Available payment methods may include business check, PayPal, electronic payment, store credit, or another agreed method.

Payment-processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

The seller is responsible for providing accurate payment information. RockSocks Collectibles is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect information supplied by the seller.

Any applicable payment fee or deduction must be disclosed to and approved by the seller before the transaction is completed.

 

 

13. Taxes and Reporting

The seller is responsible for determining and satisfying their own federal, state, and local tax obligations arising from the sale.

RockSocks Collectibles may request tax information or issue tax documents when required by law.

 

 

14. Errors and Misrepresentations

RockSocks Collectibles may correct an obvious clerical, typographical, mathematical, or payment error.

If payment is mistakenly issued for items that were not included, were materially misrepresented, were counterfeit, or were not lawfully owned by the seller, RockSocks Collectibles reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.

The seller agrees to provide truthful and complete information throughout the transaction.

 

 

15. Right to Refuse a Transaction

RockSocks Collectibles may decline any submission or transaction before a final offer has been accepted.

We may also cancel a transaction before payment when fraud, material misrepresentation, illegality, ownership concerns, authentication concerns, or a material transaction error is discovered.

Nothing in these terms requires RockSocks Collectibles to make an offer or purchase any item.

 

 

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RockSocks Collectibles’ liability relating to submitted items will not exceed the reasonable fair-market value of the items directly affected at the time they were received.

RockSocks Collectibles is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, speculative, or consequential losses, including alleged future appreciation, lost profits, missed selling opportunities, emotional value, or differences between an ungraded item’s estimated value and a possible future grading result.

This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

 

 

17. Electronic Communications

The seller agrees that transaction communications, offers, approvals, records, and notices may be provided electronically using the email address, telephone number, website form, or other contact method supplied by the seller.

The seller is responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and reviewing transaction communications promptly.

 

 

18. Governing Law

These terms and any transaction with RockSocks Collectibles will be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.

Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the Arizona county where RockSocks Collectibles maintains its principal place of business, unless the parties agree in writing to another resolution process or applicable law requires otherwise.

 

 

19. Changes to These Terms

RockSocks Collectibles may update these terms periodically.

The terms provided to or accepted by the seller for a particular transaction will govern that transaction.

 

 

20. Entire Transaction Agreement

The final written offer, these Sell to Us Terms and Conditions, the accepted inventory or item list, and any written transaction-specific terms together form the agreement between the seller and RockSocks Collectibles.

Any transaction-specific term stated in the final written offer will control over a conflicting general term in this policy.

 

 

Seller Acknowledgment

By accepting a final offer, the seller confirms:

• I have read and agree to the RockSocks Collectibles Sell to Us Terms and Conditions.

• I am at least 18 years old.

• I lawfully own the items or have authority to sell them.

• The items are not stolen, counterfeit, or subject to another person’s claim.

• I understand that preliminary estimates may change after inspection.

• I approve the final offer and authorize RockSocks Collectibles to purchase the identified items for the agreed amount.
